1. Purpose and Scope
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders shipped from my store, Apertura.online. As an independent seller, I am committed to ensuring your items are delivered safely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner to provide you with an excellent shopping experience.
2. Selection of Carriers
I partner with established and reliable logistics providers to handle shipments. Carriers are selected based on their service reliability, coverage for your destination, tracking capabilities, and cost.
3. Shipping Methods & Destinations
Standard Regions: Orders are typically shipped via reliable courier services (such as Royal Mail, Parcelforce, or other national/regional postal and parcel services).
Remote or International Destinations: Shipments to remote areas or outside the main service network may be routed through specific carriers (like DHL, FedEx, or local postal services) suitable for the destination. Delivery times and costs will vary.
Special Items: Fragile, high-value, or unusually sized items may require special packaging and shipping arrangements, which will be communicated to you before dispatch if necessary.
4. Processing & Shipping Timeframes
Order Processing: Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
Dispatch: Once dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information (where available).
Estimated Delivery Times: These vary by destination and carrier. Domestic (UK) deliveries may take 2-5 business days. International deliveries can take 7-20+ business days, depending on the country and customs processing. These are estimates and not guarantees.
Pre-orders or Made-to-Order Items: Any items with longer processing times will be clearly marked on the product page with an estimated dispatch timeframe.
5. Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, the package weight/dimensions, and the selected service.
Free Shipping: I may offer free standard shipping on orders over a certain amount within specific regions. Any such offer will be clearly promoted on the website.
International Fees: All applicable taxes, duties, and customs fees for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient. I cannot control these charges and do not pre-pay them on your behalf.
6. Returns, Exchanges & Shipping Responsibilities
Due to My Error (Wrong/Damaged Item): I will cover the cost of return shipping and the re-shipment of the correct item.
Customer-Initiated Returns/Exchanges (Change of Mind): If you wish to return an item in its original, unused condition within 14 days of receipt, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. The refund will be issued for the item price only, once the return is received and inspected. For exchanges, I will cover the shipping cost to send the replacement item.
Non-Deliverable Shipments: If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect or insufficient address provided by the customer, or repeated failed delivery attempts, refunds will be issued minus the original and return shipping costs.
7. Risk of Loss & Title
Ownership and risk of loss for the items you order pass to you upon my delivery of the package to the carrier for shipment.
8. Prohibited Items
I comply with carrier and international regulations regarding restricted items. By placing an order, you confirm that the items you are purchasing can be legally shipped to your destination country.
9. Delivery Delays & Force Majeure
While I strive to meet estimated delivery times, I am not liable for delays caused by events outside my reasonable control, including but not limited to: carrier delays, severe weather, natural disasters, customs hold-ups, pandemics, or other logistical disruptions.
10. Policy Updates
I reserve the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time. The current policy will always be posted on this page and is effective immediately upon posting.
